Important!!
Before going to SOLAR, to set your NetID or, going to Microsoft for Updates
You MUST do the following:
Click on Tools and select Internet Options and click on connections tab.
Click on LAN Settings(bottom right)
Click the Use Automatic configuration script
in the address box type in:
http://resnet.stonybrook.edu/wpad.dat
it should look like this:
Click Ok, Click Ok.
Now you should be able to go to SOLAR
